These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Advent Session, an all-in-one platform that supports the management and operation of conference sessions and similar events. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

Advent Session is used by organizations (such as SDA church conferences) to manage events. It is accessible via web and mobile apps. Use is by invitation only.

2. Access and Accounts

  • Only users invited by an administrator may access Advent Session.
  • Admins and their staff have login-based access.
  • Participants receive secure access links and do not require accounts.
  • Participants may use the mobile app to engage with conference-related features.

3. Data Ownership and Responsibility

All participant data is owned and controlled by the respective organization. Advent Session does not use or resell this data. Organizations are responsible for managing and distributing secure profile links.

4. Platform Security

We provide secure infrastructure using industry standards. However, we are not liable for unauthorized access due to mishandling of secure links by organizations.

5. Acceptable Use

  • No illegal or abusive behavior is allowed on the platform.
  • You may not attempt to probe or bypass security controls.

6. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or revoke access for any user or organization violating these Terms or compromising the system.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is." We are not responsible for indirect damages, data loss, or service outages. We are also not responsible for misuse by organizations.

8. Support

We may provide support via email. There are no guaranteed service levels.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes agreement to any changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados.

11. Mobile App Use

  • The mobile app allows participants to access schedules, meals, and other features.
  • Device features like camera or push notifications may be used to support the experience.
  • Misuse or reverse-engineering is prohibited.
  • Use of the app is also governed by the terms of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
